Tbh, I looked up the english translation of it because I wasn't sure if anyone was going to get the reference lol. I def agree with you though, I still listen to the song whenever I need to feel uplifted
I keep saying, somebody needs to sit then down and explain to them very carefully that they have two options: 1: Drastic and lasting societal change or 2: Full blown reenactment of the French revolution.
A tad harsh, I pray it's not taken literally. We have the power in our hands w/o the need for blood, the power of the dollar. Every $ you spend can go into a red donors billies profit pocket, a blue rights Corp, local small biz or artist. You choose, learn from history boycott work https://GoodsUniteUs.com
No i am not advocating for violence. However, most people live paycheck t0 paycheck and don't have money to donate to "change", and many cannot boycott certain companies due to income status or availability. It is not left vs right. It is rich vs poor and it always has been.
No, anyone, can select who they support. Even on tight budgets, just because someone is articulate, or is limited in vocabulary all dollars count toward basic rights. You choose, buy a Nabisco vs General Mills or Hardee's vs burger King or Coca Cola vs Pepsi. It's simple choice & using app go blue.
However, i am not discouraging people from doing this, I do think it is worthwhile to recognize who you are giving money to (funding)but I also believe that it is a privilege not everyone has the luxury of being able to do.
Sure anyone can try. But actual impoverished individuals have limited options so every single purchase is impossible, or they might not have the time to do research. And again it's not a right vs left issue it's rich vs poor. And most cooperation (especially relating to food) have same parent compny
R you arguing because cutting off heads/violence I find undemocratic or r you arguing against anyone w/ a cell that can use a free app to see where their hard earned or few $'s are going to? Either argument doesn't help anything. Put your efforts & talents fighting 4 something not against us trying.
I feel like my posts very clearly is a commentary on the extreme wealth disparity in the United States and the oppression and exploitation that occurs as a result of the elites greed for more money. It blends a symbolic Christian painting/ story with an alteration of a quote from Ruth Bader Ginsburg
There should be a study of all the different painters that have painted this subject. I'm particularly fond of Artemisia Ghentilesche's painting as well as Carravagio's.
Nope, all branches of Christianity have saints, growing up I went to a CofE (Anglican Protestant) school named after St James. And although I can see why you might be surprised, Catholics do have women saints, Mother Theresa is a recent example of one.
Interesting. I grew up Presbyterian (a protestant denomination) and we did not acknowledge saints. I no longer personally subscribe to organized religion. In my deconstruction eraπ«
You're right I should have said 'most Christian denominations have saints'. It's interesting that a young nation like the US seems to have more denominations of Christianity than the rest of the world combined. The great Emo Phillips summed it up best..
Iβm a former Catholic but I looked her up. She is a saint. She seduced, murdered and beheaded an Assyrian general and delivered said head to her people, who defeated the Assyrians.

Refrain:
Oh. It'll be okay, be okay, be okay,
Hang the aristocrats from on high!
Oh. It'll be okay, be okay, be okay,
The aristocrats, we'll hang 'em all!"

victory of the weak over the

There have been women who came close to doing that to me!
But terrible dietary advice. Think of the cholesterol!
