The boundaries between state power and private capital has disappeared and now the incentive to vote is a pure economic transaction which has concerning implications!

The flow from private captial paying people to vote is definitely concerning. However, people looking at their vote as more of a transaction for who will give them their best return might be helpful. The "teams" mentality vs the "I vote for you, you give me XYZ".
Until I see a tangible reason to think otherwise, I'm going to think Wisconsians are savvy enough to take his money and then do whatever the hell they want.
I can't count how many times I've seen people take money like this and then do the opposite because the asshole thought they could be bought that cheap or at all.
Lol. They never have. But getting a bribe wrong is one of the best, quickest ways to make someone turn against you forever. And they won't necessarily tell you they have. We'll see. People's spite and vengeance are unfortunately typically more reliable than their better sides.
