Exactly. Seeing a lot of jokes and hand waves about how this is unenforceable but even an incoherent and halfassed enforcement could be apocalyptic for the industry in the US and abroad.

Of there was ANY thought behind this at all, the next step will be "allowing" productions to be exempt from taxes if they give certain creative controls to the white house. Sure make your next fast and furious, but the heroes work with ICE and the villain is MS13 and wears Chicago bulls merchandise

The owners of WB/Disney/Paramount/Universal wanted this - given they used CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC to get him elected and have no intention of using them to make him stop [not until unions/regulations/their own debts/diversity are all destroyed first]
