5/10 Although not directly suggested within the Course, I have found that regularly reminding myself of what to be grateful for is a wonderful means of lifting my spirits and finding peace. Gratitude can serve as an antidote for misery, sorrow, antipathy, and a sense of loss. Gratitude is a choice.
6/10 One way of directing one’s attention to the good in one’s life is by scheduling time (yes, actually scheduling time) throughout the day to reflect upon what one is grateful for. In fact, doing so hourly for one day can help elevate awareness of the good in one’s life. #ACIM
7/10 Using a smartphone, schedule the timer to chime hourly. Begin as soon as you wake up. Every hour, from the time you wake up until you go to sleep, use the hourly reminder to reflect on what you are grateful for. #ACIM #Miracles #Love #Mediation
8/10 It could be something that occurred during the prior hour, or anything else that comes to mind. Use these hourly reminders to dwell in the space of gratitude. Gratitude for anything in one’s life is healing, no matter how big or small.
