An introduced species here in Australia, but one that hasn’t thrived or become a problem. 😊

They do have more colours, but the yellow on your Goldfinches is to die for! So vivid, so gorgeous! Funny they have the same name really when they look so different! ☺️💛❤️
And you're right about our goldfinches. The difference is striking! I'd have to say, tho, in my favourite wee bird category, there's a 3-way tie between the American goldfinch, black-capped chickadee, & house wren.☺️💛🖤🤎
