I personally don't see why people are upset with bsky subscriber features like hiq files and gif pfps etc. I thought we didn't want crypto and constant ads? Let them cook for god's sake.. To add more complex features they're obviously going to need the money

also like alot of other art only sites have done sub based stuff
its not really something so idk surprising to me that they'd do that (tho ig this isnt just an art only space).... i'd get it tbh depending on the extras and even then? not like its required
so i might not but for people asking for it (which i have seen people mention gif icons already before this announcement) they probably will be very happy ^^

but for real, sites need money to exist- and more importantly, to thrive and grow? giving a few extra bucks if you're able is hardly a huge ask. I get we're all jaded, but we gotta be reasonable 💀
