A government elected by the east set it up so that the government will always be chosen by the east. And Ontario doesn't care what the rest of the country needs. I know because I'm from there.

In terms of representation, land. Interms of staffing, population. It's just as much work running 600 ppl per RM is SK as it is 5000 per township in ON. Different work. But same importance. Staffing on the other hand, would need to be larger for dense populations.

As a long-time NDP supporter, I assumed people would understand gravity of the situation and use the polls to vote strategically. I guess I was wrong. Saskatchewan is going to send a bunch of con MPs back to Ottawa to fight for plastic straws.

Everybody wants the other guy to drop out. So, nobody will. And as I mentioned even if one did there's no guarantee that their supporters would switch, or even show up to vote. 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if there's an example of that currently? Polls before and after one drops out. Probably not.
