Software engineers are so lazy these days. They just want to have ChatGPT tell them the answer. Back in my day we copy and pasted the answer from Stack Overflow BY HAND, and we didn't complain.

Back in my day, which is still happening today, you'd read the documentation and refer to it when needed. You'd be wary of code you don't understand and could not maintain properly.
Given how I answer questions on SO - technically correct, literal answers to what the (misguided) OP asked for, but unholy abominations that should never be pushed to production - I am amused that GPT has been trained by my efforts.
