Counterpoint: Hacker News is where all the people who *think* they know things show up to tell people who actually know things that they don't know anything, and posts like this are pearls before swine.

There's this site called Hacker News that all the programmers in Silicon Valley check every day. People are reporting to me that they keep posting my stuff there, and it gets taken down for being "political." But I really think the engineers in Silicon Valley need to hear this. So make 'em.
