The reason for using such a high ratio of flower to oil , is because ABV flower has basically undergone a far too aggresive decarboxylation .
To make up for that , i add more ABV .
If you were to decarb flower normally (oven etc)
then i don't think you would have to add such a high ratio .

Frankly had enough
A little bit later than planned , but it's oil making day today - 4 oz of ABV flower (already been vaped) and a big pile of kief go in to a litre of coconut oil .
Coconut oil is the best carrier oil for cannabis , you can argue but you'll be wrong .

If looking for a pickup in thc I add some decarbed rosin pucks to the mix.
I add kief as mentioned .
Another big thing is tolerance issues , only person who has ever said it's done nothing to , was smoking 7G a day .
Are you a smoker ?
So rosin pucks are in abundance. But i press around 200 <185 cold press or 205 highest>or below so the pucks need a bit more to decarb. But are packed with residual oil and good stuff.
As I don't generate that much avb anymore, I tend to just do full extractions with various mediums .
The levo i also use with a multitude of infused cooking oils for storing herbs and such.
