We need to bring back the importance of personal experience. Like, if someone is talking to you about some subject, so you ask “do you have personal experience in that?” and they answer in the negative, you then say “OK shut up”.

Right? A friend was talking about the horrid things immigrants were supposedly doing. I asked if any of these horrid things happened to her or her family. No. Then I asked if she’s even met any immigrants. No. Then it doesn’t seem like anything you need to worry about was my final response to her.
You could also ask where she got that information. Guaranteed she would either try to evade the question or cite RW media as her source. Sounds like she's brainwashed.
She’s not a proTrumper. The source is a friend who has been wonderfully supportive of her family since her husband died.I know him as well & always felt he was prejudiced against people of color. He spouts nonsense that she believes because he’s a charismatic, successful, charming man on the outside.
In court you can only testify to matters of general knowledge (eg sun rises in the east) OR, you have to have sufficient training and experience in order to state an opinion. Then you have to provide the basis of your opinion. Otherwise you're out the door. Good rule.
