Especially a family as a form of AUTHORITY. Often but not limited to patriarchal families- there's a reason the phenomenon is called the PATRIARCHY instead of "andrarchy." Even men are devalued if their goal isn't to become a patriarch.

Being anti-family (especially anti-abusive family) is much more progressive than folks think.

“Family” is literally the first site of oppression for the standard human unless they were born to wolves or whatever. It deserves to be scrutinized at minimum.
