KDHX fired beloved DJs, sparking backlash, protests, and mass resignations. Leadership was accused of mismanagement, leading to lawsuits and deep community mistrust. They filed for bankruptcy in March and earlier this month agreed to sell the frequency and tower to the Christian broadcaster K-LOVE.

The dismantling was primarily the work of current KDHX Station Manager Kelly Wells and the president of the Board of Directors, Gary Pierson.

Yeah, I think KDHX - as we once knew it - is gone for good. I also think there needs to be an investigation by the city attorney’s office into current KDHX leadership and what they’ve done to kill the station.
