I never went to art school since I grew up in poverty, but I was still able to land character design / visdev gigs at many big studios, because I was (still am) so obsessed with drawing dogs!

Wanna get good at the arts? You don't need to spend $$$$ on schooling you just need to find that one character you are obsessed with and want to make fanart/fanfic/merch of 1000 times. And then you will get good in no time :)
