I do believe this is all happening bc Saya Kamitani is leaving. Weird lack of belt stip aside, rushing this in March is b/c of a contract, not retirement. Short of Tam finding out her career is over last week, nothing else makes sense for this event.
Though maybe that's just me hoping for the best.
As a fading geriatric millennial Stardom fan, I can't imagine it w/o Tam. Stardom never really took for me until the Nakano-Giulia match. So largely she's responsible for getting into Joshi at all. If she's done, that's crushing. Not STARDOM's fault, obv, but boy is that a hard loss to overcome.
For me Tam vs Saya from Stardom Dream Queendom 2021 that really was just like THIS for me. I loved it before out of all I saw but that was the match that just fully sold me on it.
So this match means a lot to me and I'm terrified and sad to at the same time haha.
