I’m saying these shows shouldn’t even be a worry for AEW nor its fans. Even at its most pessimistic, it won’t effect AEW attention nor ticket sales at all. So why waste crying about it? If anything, AEW should have had the idea first, well before WWE decided to add shoulder shows to their Paris show

I think it mostly impacts their ability to run Dynamite/Collision shows in the UK around Forbidden Door, not just from a head-to-head attendance perspective but also venue exclusivity periods

They announced this show last August, right? I get the idea that there’s venue exclusivity, but they could have also announced the 2 show locations anytime in the last 7 months and had control of it all. WWE ran Berlin Aug 31st last year, so them coming near by again shouldn’t have been surprising.

Honestly pro wrestling tribalism needs to be studied in a lab. This isn't like sports team loyalty where it's tied to the city or region you're from. A rising tide lifts all ships. The more eyes on wrestling whether it's AEW, WWE, or a local indy promotions, the better for everyone.

Yeah it’s a pretty crazy week if you’re a bit wrestling fan in the UK with some time and money. Can see big AEW, RevPro, and WWE (think I’m forgetting another too) shows within a week of each other. They forget that many fans won’t have to choose, they’ll just have more good events to go to.

From what I've heard, London trends to rev up its indy shows as well in the lead up to AEW PPVs. Having to choose what show to go to seems like a good problem to have honestly! Like there's a lot to criticize WWE for, but this feels silly.
