What happened is Trump demanded something and the next several days both Canada and Mexico increased border security, EU agreed to reduce their tarrifs on US cars, Panama stopped cooperation with China. Everyone behaves like little cowards.

And Trudeau was diplomatic enough to understand Trump and let him have the win. It gives us 30 days before the next potential attack. I can only hope Trump will be very busy with the fallout of his nazi DOGE.
