Military officers don't even have the President in the Oath. They don't swear anything to the Prez. Their Oath is only to the Constitution.

If the prez chooses to destroy the Constitution & attack the rights it affords its Citizens, then it is the military's responsibility to step up and defend it.

The problem is that there are plenty of people in the military who are trumpers and nazis. I don’t see them going against him but I do see them going against civilians. Plus trump has placed drunk guy Hegseth as SecDef. He sure as hell isn’t going to do anything.
