Trump appointees and staffers get security clearances without undergoing a thorough background check from the FBI.
Under trump the FBI checks are a joke. Not normal
Besides being unqualified, applicants sign under oath, which exposes them to perjury charges which are easy to prove.

I really cannot grasp the argument Poilievre is making on this. He's saying that he can be more effective with less information? Doesn't having information contribute to sound decision-making and good governance?
