Most of these experts are actually back benchers how are lying to gain some clout. They are normally are far removed from the real action, but they are good at making up stuff so they end up on these podcasts.

This guy worked for State Dept for ~2 months. He has no inside knowledge of anything he talks about, even as he claims he ‘watched a censorship regime grow from the inside.’ It’s all bullshit. And the absolute credulity displayed by Rogan here is why commentary & journalism aren’t the same.
