Over on FB over the years I have had to block a number of like-minded otherwise sensible friends because they had a hobby of debating MAGATs, which would then bring that hateful spew into _my_ feed.

There is no point at all in debating hate-spewers. Or in even listening to them.

I’ve seen people call Bluesky an echo chamber but isn’t that what Trump is trying to create in the government by hiring only loyalists? Diversity of thought and civil discourse are great but MAGATS only want to talk at you and argue. They are very emotional and refuse to acknowledge facts.

That's exactly right. MAGA is, first and foremost, a movement of the stupid, ignorant, gullible, malicious and cruel -- it basically encapsulates everything bad and evil in human beings.

We must not dignify these swine with an audience.

Shun them, yell at them -- but don't talk nice to them.
