I love Ensnared by the Mara. I ended up demonstrating it with The Twelfth Doctor for 3 copies and some major burn sometimes.

And of course, Benton being a vicious commander is not much of a secret these days.

They’ve been sneaking more into UB sets. There’s some vote/choice stuff in Fallout, LOTR, and even Clue, too. It’s a definite benefit to the auxiliary stuff we’ve been getting.

Took others and made a Rakdos, Patron of Chaos minigame deck that forces your opponents to play choice games

My favorite part of Ensnared by the Mara is that it resolves one player at a time and watching the gears turn in other players heads as they react to the damage or the spells you get is amazing.

So I think Angels is cool, but the issue it has is that no one attacks in commander, at the point where holding up 3 is feasible, unless they also have some type of evasion.

The most common evasion would be Menace, Flying, Deathtouch & unblockable, angels only stops 1 of those lol.
