There is no segment of our youth that is in more peril than this community. As the entire Republican Party including their leader has vilified and ostracized them. Can you imagine having the weight of that hate on those small shoulders just trying to be themselves. My heart breaks for them.
I think alt-text is important for a post like this because a) trans people can be disabled & require screen readers, b) with alt-text this post becomes searchable, so people search for a trans suicide hotline can easily find it, and c) you can highlight the text and immediately call on a cell phone.
