‘Amo (uncle) Mufid is released to a halfway house where he will stay for some time before being given full freedom and allowed to go home.

The Holy Land 5 are Muslim men prosecuted by the GWB DOJ in the days/years following 9/11. At the time the Holy Land Foundation was the largest Muslim charity in the US. These 5 men, their families, their community, our people have been made to pay dearly—still do—for support for Palestine.

This is bananas. The FBI is still bragging about these convictions on their website, where they spell out how far-fetched and circumstantial the evidence is. Meanwhile, direct aid to the IOF is tax-deductible even as it conducts a genocide and regional escalation
