If we’re evaluating RFKJr using the framework of x positions are good and y positions are bad, then at the very least, the assessment should end with the question: do the benefits outweigh the risks? Clearly, from everything we know about RFKJr, the answer is no.

Anyone who seriously believes that RFK will do anything to improve people’s health must be partaking of Muskolini doses of ketamine.
Any health ‘concern’ RFK has ever raised has been linked directly to his ability to create a profitable alternative or being financially encouraged to let it drop.

Yep. We had insurance as kids via dad's factory but many of my peers didn't. That's the whole point! Fluoride protects the whole community regardless. Public health people should understand this.

People are still playing the old playbook where you try to find common ground with your opponents. That may have even worked 8 years ago with someone like Redfield at CDC. It doesn’t work right now. Plus, whatever common ground you think you might have is a smokescreen. It’s just this gif on repeat

And I’m not saying that finding common ground with your opponents isn’t a worthwhile goal. But you have to realize the difference between an opponent where that is possible from one whose view of the nature of reality is so wildly wrong that any such common ground is an illusion.

I’m on my county board of HHS. Every now and then we get updates from the public health dentist. They see kids who don’t even know how to use a toothbrush ffs. Fluoridated water might be the only dental care they receive unless they have an obvious, major problem.
