Oh sure, maybe there's a small, removed community using this meaning but I've started learning toki pona way before pu and never encountered this variant until now. I'm always happy to learn new things though

oh wait you mean the old apeja that just means anpa! I'm talking about the newer one. different words.

but yeah the old apeja that meant "shame" when proposed a very very long time ago is obsolete in my opinion with the "shame" meaning of anpa, which is way cooler imo
