One thing that continues to bother me is when the AFP first knew about the March 23, 2019 incident. Justice Lee recorded April 1 as the accepted date the AFP first became involved.

Justice Lee dismissed Brittany's claims on the Project and ABC 4Corners that she was contacted by the Parliament House AFP Police Unit on 27th March 2019.

However in Sam Maiden's article she quotes the Director of PH Security, Mr Peter Butler as saying he informed AFP Commander Hynes on Monday 25th March. Hynes tells him the AFP had no prior knowledge of the incident before that, and it wasn't a police matter.

However it still seems rather odd that the AFP would then sit on this knowledge of the March 23, 2019 incident for a week until Brittany reported it to them after her meeting with Linda Reynolds on April 1.

PS: His name was Greg Hinds not Hymes as Samantha Maiden spelt it in her article. Apart from Maiden's article there is not one mention of this conversation with Peter Butler on Monday March 25th in the criminal trial, defo trial, ACT Inquiry or the media.
