finally have all the bits & bobs assembled so i can clean up & eventually setting stones! i cut the black jade & the pietersite from rough rock. bronze & sterling silver, all hand fabricated. also you can slip out the fish hooks & pop in an o ring to wear them as a pendant :) proud of myself! - ThreadSky

thank you so much! it’s such a cool stone, there’s a chatoyancy in the chalcedony (say that ten times fast) that is so beautiful and difficult to capture. i can’t wait to set everything and get the metals polished up

this piece is a mix! the CZs are bought, the black jade at the top i cut from rough rock, and the pietersite i bought as a cab at a show years ago but i hated the way the guy cut it so i completely re-cut. it’s definitely more tedious but i have so much more control as a result!
