It prevents doom scrolling. It was bad for me to keep scrolling in an app that had so much hate. I still have my Twitter but I have a rule where I can only use it through desktop.
Saaaaame deleted 2 days ago. I'll still use it now and then on desktop with a control panel extension to block some some of the unsavoury replies... But it seems the healthier option is to wean off twitter.

yea, piratesoftware said its got better user engagement which is good for getting what you actually like. and then someone linked your X tweet about moving here. so i finally made an acct.

I actually switched because I couldn't deal with the toxic BS pushed to my feed anymore.
