Newsom is doing a great job with this, and I live very close to the fire zone. He's fully engaged and our fire fighters seem to think he's doing the right things.

No he shouldn't. He had equipment pre positioned and was ready the problem is we currently have no technology on earth that can effectively fight fires with those sustained winds. The embers move faster then any firefighter can so at that point it's basically just get out of the way.

I have issues, too. But they pale in the face of the overwhelming and ongoing fire disasters in SOCAL. The GOP rhetoric regarding the fires is despicable. I wish there were an avenue for withholding taxes while the GOP-led government cuts our state off at the knees.
