There was also a treaty with Russia that has been broken. It seems that Russia and the US can’t be trusted to uphold agreements. In the US this is nothing new. Many treaties with native Americans were ignored.
People forget, the US has benefitted tremendously by the weakening of russias military that Ukraine paid for in blood. Trump should be paying and thanking Ukraine and Ukrainians for aiding the US strategic cause. Russia is no ally, no matter what that fool thinks.
So true....U.S spent trillions over the cold war and beyond to counter the Soviet threat and the Russian threat. With a 100 billion dollars worth of old weapons headed to the scrap yard, Ukraine has almost destroyed the second "mightiest" army that kept Americans awake at night.
Why isn’t the media regularly reporting about this event? How does anyone expect Ukraine to sign any kind of mineral agreement without some guarantee of security from the United States. Although I don’t know how he could possibly trust Trump. Maybe EU will do it on their own.
Americans should have prevented this from happening in the first place. If Ukraine wasn't coerced by the US to give up its nuclear weapons, russia wouldn't dare invade a nuclear Ukraine. The US has blood of the Ukrainian people on its hands and the privileged incels that voted for Trump don't help.
