I would say that was insane and wrong and how could a doctor even do his or her job under those circumstances? In fact, I would think that would make grounds for a lawsuit. And I would dump that insurance and refuse to ever buy their product again. Money is all that really moves them.

Actually, I was talking about the doctor suing them, but some of us do have a choice about where we get insurance and after that nonsense about cutting off anesthesia, I would dump that company.

Most people don't have the option of different insurance because they get it from their employer. So the fact that BCBS changed their decision on anesthesia due to a CEO of another insurance company being killed...seems like maybe putting the fear of god into them actually worked.

Work camps? When did we get to work camps? I was talking about health insurance. And if only the wealthy get to eat, the farmers will go broke. There are not that many really wealthy people. The reason the USDA exists was to provide people with food. To avoid famine and revolution.

Not just security, but they will be replaced. The entire system doesn’t fall when one CEO dies - it just makes them a martyr and makes those in that position seem more victimised. There are always people to replace those who are killed (deputy CEOs), murder does nothing but start conversations.

I don't know if it made Trump stronger, but it sure did not hurt him. People need health care and they also need food, but you don't see people shooting farmers and meat packers and grocers in the back because of the high cost of food. Or housing. Would it help to shoot the landlords? Nope.

Exactly, system change needs to happen. It’s harder and needs to happen via a democracy which means winning over the people intent on voting for the selfish elite class, but in the end there could be a system that benefits everyone in the US and doesn’t just kill the elite

Yes. Because it is not just the insurance companies. It is the cost of health care itself. That is the real issue. It drives up the costs of premiums and limits coverage. The only way to avoid that is to bring down the costs.
