tho I really wish it let you choose the the hair curve geonodes, it hides the geonode selection. I like to make custom versions of them and this makes that much more difficult >:( @dannymac3d.bsky.social plz
The geonodes are still visible in blenders modifier stack. I hid them from my ui stack because it's very easy to accidentally break the system if you don't know what you're doing. If you do know what you're doing, it's still very easy to access them 🙂
I think I better understand what you're looking for. At the moment you have the hair system selected. If you select a curve, the nodes that belong to it will show in the stack :)
the problem is I have custom hair system geonodes that I want to apply which are getting tagged by your system and now can't swap in and out 😅 I'd be happy to submit a bugreport if you have a spot for that, if that would be easier to work through!
The addon is aimed more towards people that don't want to get involved with geometry nodes (most people I think). That's not to say you can't go in and modify them, just that I haven't set up the documentation or tutorials for doing that
If you want to add components of your own hair system, you will want to modify the dm3d-hair-nodes which is at the top of the stack in the screenshot you posted. This is where the hair is generated.
