Getting mad at those that pirate instead of directing that anger at governments that underfund local libraries to the point that some neighbourhoods don’t have libraries that they can easily access, or at countries that simply refuse to stock their libraries with global fiction. Shut. Up.

this doesn't affect me personally as i buy my books but right now my local council is trying to reduce our constituency's libraries from i think 8 to one... ONE!! the one that's in the town centre. some ppl would have to travel 30+ mins by bus wtf

it’s wild to me that it’ll be the same one talking about literacy rates with so many takes on what they believe makes a good and just reader. If pirating gets the kids reading why would that be an issue
