I forget who said it, but a pro or former pro was talking about their favorite soigneur who didn’t keep a spare helmet in the car bc if you need a new helmet you shouldn’t keep racing so that took care of that

DS’s need to be stricter, because often athletes will feign that they’re are ok to carry on racing. They’ll hide how bad they’re feeling at times.

That is awful. Riders with concussion won't be aware they're concussed. They need their teams to look after them. Some hard hits in the men's race, too.
