Hell yeah--I had the reverse experience where I binged the whole show online as a teenager circa 2010 due to hearing about it from American people fans, then realised it had actually aired on UK TV in like, 2000 and a couple of my classmates had seen it as kids!

PreCure was mega inaccessible until recent years. There are still several select seasons, mainly from the 2009-2015 era, that isn't streaming on Crunchyroll yet, as well as the fact that NONE of the movies are legally available in America as of now. I'm still waiting on those to be released on BD.
