So all we need to do is warm up MARS, and we're off to the races. Then we just need to solve for weak gravity and lack of a magnetic field to keep the atmosphere we create from drifting off into space. I estimate we could do this by 2027.

I attended a talk given by Robert Ballard (he found Titanic) several years ago. He observed that we still haven't fully explored the oceans yet, and emphatically stated we have zero chance of successfully terraforming Mars.
