🙏😿💕Thank you 🐶💕🐶As of now your fire personnel haven't been invited to help, but in the past we've reciprocated because terrain & fires are similar. No evacuation order here yet, but (12am) the air is bad. Trees were swaying earlier but wind subsided some at nightfall.
Here’s hoping the wind drops soon. Yes, our firies have been caught with a horrible fire down South in the Grampians, but I know our countries help each other out when they can. So far we’ve been lucky otherwise this Summer.
Stay safe, Lisabeth. It’s scary, but the thing they drilled into us when the 2019/2020 fires surrounded our town was to have a plan and stick to it. We are desperately hoping the fires over there ease soon xx
