Indiana Jones is addictively good so far.

And the way I’d deacribe it is immersive sim-lite.
Not a full on like Deus Ex but it’s the closest I’ve gotten to Thief since, well, Thief 2.
Things aren’t as reactive as in an immersive sim but it hits reeeaaal good.
Haven’t actually played Dishonoured so can’t say about that. 🤔
Regarding the new Deus Ex, I’ve some bad news for earlier this year:

It's not quite to that level, but it's scratching some of that Arkane itch too. You can see a lot of Chronicles of Riddick DNA from Starbreeze, which makes sense given it's a lot of the same team members. Love it!
Machinegames seldom molasses & even then, even at their worst, Youngblood was fine. Not good, def not great, but it was fine.
They certainly know what they’re about. I don’t know what they’re doing next but I’m pretty sure I’mma play whatever they push out.
The Raiders of the Lost Ark intro was so & so.
But after that? Some of the most enjoyable immersive sim-lite gameplay I’ve played in bloody aaaages.
It’s good fun as is, but as you upgrade your melee it becomes that much more fun.
The shooting? Not great.
Barely passable.
But I’m cool with it bc a shooter wouldn’t make sense with Indy.
