The biggest threat to creativity isn’t AI.
It’s control.
❌ Corporations gatekeep what gets seen.
❌ Platforms take the largest cut from artists.
❌ Tariffs make art materials more expensive every year.
If we don’t take back our creative economy now, we never will. (🧵👇)”

Every time Trump raises tariffs, it’s artists who suffer:
❌ Higher printing & supply costs (paper, ink, canvas).
❌ Higher shipping costs for small creators.
❌ Less access to international art tools.
Meanwhile, corporate giants avoid the worst of it.
Right now, artists are trapped by:
❌ Etsy taking fees on every sale.
❌ Amazon controlling who gets visibility.
❌ Instagram deciding which posts get buried.
The Artist Hub model is about breaking free—owning our own distribution, sales and success.
We can’t rely on government policies to save us.
We can’t wait for corporations to ‘fix’ themselves.
We must:
✅ Build our own art hubs (local & independent).
✅ Sell direct-to-community (no middlemen).
✅ Control our own tools (open-source AI, independent printing).
Big Tech wants control.
❌ AI behind paywalls.
❌ Algorithms deciding what gets seen.
❌ Artists forced into corporate partnerships.
But decentralized systems?
✅ Local artist hubs.
✅ Direct creator-to-buyer sales.
✅ No permission needed.
Art isn’t dying—it’s evolving.
Old system: Platforms take a cut & decide what sells.
New system: Artists control their work, sales, & distribution.
The question isn’t if we change the system—it’s how fast we do it.
And creativity isn’t just for a chosen few—it belongs to all of us.
Make no mistake—this is a fight.
❌ No corporate censorship.
❌ No economic gatekeeping.
❌ No systems built to exploit artists.
Creativity is the last true form of freedom. If we don’t protect it, we lose it.
That’s why I post this today—while my apps and workflows go unused. For now.
They become so easy to manipulate. Tariffs are taxes upon consumers ultimately. Importer pays. Increases prices by tariff amount. End user has to pay or not purchase.
But art is still vitally important.
