Am I the only person in the world who doesn’t think RDR2 is a good game? I got 12 hours in to it and realised I was bored out of my mind. Walk/ride for ages, shoot some dude, walk/ride for ages, watch an overly long cutscene, repeat.
Rockstar's fundamental mission design is the same since GTA 3 and you're definitely not the only one who's fed up with the formula.
However, despite all that, RDR2 is perhaps the most well made open world videogame ever made and many of its qualities are unparalleled to this day.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, if you didn’t enjoy it that is perfectly fine, your enjoyment is subjective. But there is no denying the passion and love surrounding the game, it has this obscenely high level of praise for a reason and will absolutely go down as one of the greatest ever.
To be fair my personal GOTY for that year wasn't even nominated. Sadly too many people missed out on Astro Bot Rescue Mission with it being a PSVR 1 game.
Is it? I just bought it because it was on sale (I think the sale just ended, so no one get too excited). I have only barely started it. Not sure if I will like the gameplay or content overall yet, but the graphics and physics and animations all seem really good.

Last game I played was RE2 original (Resident Evil)

If only they took some of the budget from the 82 minigames and put it towards making Arthur walk like his legs aren't asleep.
