Having 6 on one splatoon team is so optimal for enjoyment and social purposes. I love having a community of people to grow with and hang with on the web. Itβs so dope. The scheduling benefits are a bonus also π

we were doing monday friday practice but the 3 day gap in-between anything splatoon became an issue so we moved it to Tuesday Thursday and its been working better for us xd
imo any more and the benefits become minimal and arguably a detriment, especially if everyone wants to improve at roughly the same rate/play about the same with each other
i've seen wayyy too many teams have like 8-10 ppl on their roster and there ends up being a group of people on that roster who are teammates in name only because they never play with the team for one reason or another
yeah and that makes sense - I like 5-6 bc you don't need exactly 4 people to be available same time same place multiple times a week, it adds some flexibility
Ideally everyone plays with each other as often as possible but that becomes increasingly difficult the more people are on a "team"
oh yeah another benefit of more then 4 ppl is being able to sub people in out during sets - sometimes the easiest way to mentally reset yourself and avoid tilting is just to not play the game for a few minutes and take a breather
at least for me my situation is very unique and I have to bend other people to be willing to work around my schedule(evening public school custodian working 2-11 mon-fri) so the more people we have that can do that(incl other teams) the better
