I guess it's just from experience, but usually, someone that explicitly goes by "masterX" is more of a wanker with a powertrip rather than someone who enjoys hypno.

Of course, these are not absolutes, but they raise the alert level for me!

oh my GOD the way having "master" in their username is the BIGGEST red flag, or only having like one picture, and it's a blurry cropped photo with no face.

Other solid contenders:
- when they start an "induction" in the first message
- opening the first message calling you sub, boy, or slave.
