The Democratic Party doesn’t need a caretaker, it needs a change maker. And that’s what I have a history of doing. Together, I’ll unite our party for change - and then we'll fight like hell to win.

It needs a psychological warfare operation, like, yesterday. Because the fascists have had one for at least a decade and their victory has not only been complete, but unchallenged.
But the big question in US politics is... how many billionaires do you have? Because the opposition have dozens willing to spend any amount to stop you.
Are you willing to fight for an end to money in politics?
There is a problem of credibility when someone says “we need such and such and I can do that”. The pick almost needs to come from someone other than yourself. “We need such and such, and this person has done that for length of time with positive outcomes”. The hubris is off putting these days.
Check out Dr. Timothy Snyder’s suggestion for what we can begin doing to fight back against incompetence and oligarchy…..https://snyder.substack.com/p/shadow-cabinet?utm_campaign=email-half-post&r=f01a7&utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email
The last change maker was Bernie, and the Democratic party worked against him to rob us of that possibility. The Democratic Party is literally complicit in getting us to this hellscape.
We need year-round off-cycle campaigning starting TODAY. We need a platform as aggressive as Fox. And we need to move back to the center. Drop the far-left rhetoric and focus on the middle class.
And no female candidates. It pains me to say that as it's not a belief I hold but America is not ready.
Also not to be rude, but Kamala barely had weeks to campaign, and still barely lost. Elon dumped his $ and X algorithm on the scale and then Russia called in bomb threats. So this is a totally invalid evaluation. After 250 years, we are READY.
Not to be rude, but aggressively holding on to the “center” while our other option is MAGA extremism is how we got here (like choosing Hilary over Bernie and then Biden).
Far-left rhetoric of “let’s join the developed world and provide universal healthcare” is not extreme!
Agreed with this. I think the Democratic leadership has been fast to make our decisions and slow to pick a side on important issues and between those two things has lost the ability to appeal to the masses.
