While I don't disagree, that strategy didn't work so well this last time around. Recently it's always been about base turnout. Vastly more people abstain than there are unreliable "swing" voters. It's a poor strategy.

As a strategy to run-up electoral
margins in 2026 (which will require winning swing districts), I think it’s generally sound (although, individual districts require tailor-made strategies). As a strategy to slow down the MAGA arson campaign in the meantime (which we need to do), not so much.
Totally. Monday morning quarterbacking, here, but they should’ve coordinated with activist organizations to have an enormous rally in the mall at the same time as SOTU.
And then pulled Al Greens one at a time with statements that cover the bases and irritate Trump “Hillary won the pop vote by more than you!” When the mandate came up. “DOGE is canceling child cancer research!” after they used that boy as a prop. When kicked out, join the rally.

Now that is something!
Thank you.
I wouldn't even call it Monday-morning quarterbacking because it was far more of a response than leadership coordinated.
I think whatever just needs to look like "we really care about this" rather than "we're merely trying to win the next election cycle."
