Why do my interests/education keep bevoming relevant, it sucks

What is J.D. Vance even referring to? Thuringia, for example, was a stronghold of the Nazi party - it was the first German state (Land) where a Nazi (Wilhelm Frick) became a minister. Today it is also a stronghold of the most radical, racist and anti-Semitic #AfD politicians.

Oh it can be explained with one other thing. This is literal russian propaganda talking points. Reality on the other hand looks like this 1933 map ( which was the last election with other parties than the NSDAP )

Not even saying Vance is a russian asset or anything but its obvious he has consumed a whole lot of russian propaganda because "the former GDR = fighters agaist fascism and so is the AfD" nonsense originated with russian propaganda .
