Where are the French processing centres Starmer talked about in the past? The last I heard 90% of small boats are asylum seekers and 75% of those are legit. Why would you cross in a small boat if there was a safe way to get to England? Trump/Musk killing USAID will only make the problem worse.

This is wilful cruelty. The govt & Starmer in particular (once a human rights lawyer… hard to believe!) know full well that you can only claim asylum on Uk soil. No asylum visa. So desperate people have no choice but to use dangerous routes. Heaven forbid they should establish safe routes.
