As a white woman, I am not exposed to racism personally, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Racist people are nice to me because I’m white. I recognise that my mileage will vary SIGNIFICANTLY from someone who has a different cultural background.

I only need to look at the violence last autumn, the gangs surrounding cars and solitary black people to beat them, to know that this country DOES have a problem with racism. And xenophobia after brexit. Ignoring the problem does a disservice to BAME brits and puts them in danger.

Your question is irrelevant what aboutery and doesn’t deserve an answer. The topic of this post is racism in this country, what other countries do or don’t do is their concern. No amount of ‘but they do racism worse than us’ is going to improve bigotry in THIS country.

24th June 2016. The racists English felt emboldened to tell EU27 citizens to get out of Angerland. They did 2.5 million returned home. Not one English man took the work positions left vacant. But Africans did.
