Honestly I think Disney made a mistake by not shutting down those same fans when Last Jedi came out. You can tell in RoS they caved quite a bit between giving Rey an ancestry or writing out Rose. But w/e I still love SW and nobody is gonna change that.

It was a fantastic show that spoke to a desire that many fans have of seeing more depth and nuance in the available media. Tragic that they caved.

Please get her to watch the SW movies in the order that they were made. This is significant for structural reasons. She won’t grasp the significance of situations and characters in the prequels if she watches them first.

“The Acolyte” wasn’t bad. The official reason was that it got too expensive, but I don’t believe that.
