new office is very local for me n i already was walking past that encampment multiple times a week without incident. i do feel bad for the residents who live across from it but as a business owner it's an eyesore and literally nothing more. it's been swept multiple times and 😮 they always come back

The only long term solution is an open jobs program that allows for indefinite housing that slowly reintegrates the homeless while removing the need of the homeless to form a camp. An equallt open shelter, followed by individual housing and guaranteed job placement.

Or alternatively, government funded self-sustaining communes that teach sustainable farming practices and land stewardship, while providing safe use sites and treatment. Increase the food supply, and help prevent natural disasters like widespread fires and the likes.
